These may have been the hardest 35/40 yards since Tuesday morning, but Cookie was super happy to go home today!!
To celebrate, we also have a photo of her doing her last 4 legged rolls in the snow about 45 minutes before we went to the vet for the amputation. We sure hope she can roll like that again, she loves being a clown…….
Home sweet home!!!
Cookie will roll again, don’t worry!! She may even pick up some habits she didn’t have before. Our Max was a left front amp also. That boy never dug a hole in his life until AFTER the amputation! It was pretty amazing to see! I’m glad your girl is back home where she belongs!
Oh yeah, she’ll roll! I have a series of tripawd rolls in Dakota’s blog. He scooted all over his meadow to get every inch of his back and also to pick up every fragment of dirt and debris he could get to stick to him. It was one of his greatest pleasures.
